Validation
“Everything you need you already have. You are complete right now, you are a whole, total person, not an apprentice person on the way to someplace else. Your completeness must be understood by you and experienced in your thoughts as your own personal reality.”
Touchy subject? Good.
It is intended to move you, provoke your thoughts and to shake you out of the norm. I know this word well: “VALIDATION”… it has taught me, moved me and even mocked me. I am here to share with you today a few key truths that I have learned with this word and shedding some light on this subject as well.
It has been a time of intense growth for most of us, not to mention crazy aligned blessings, bumps in the road and testing of faith. To say that some of us have been feeling like we are being tested on a daily basis is an understatement.
However, all of this may have brought us closer to our purpose, I know it has for me more than ever before. With all that is going on in the world around us, one can become overwhelmed and that can result in spiritual drainage. But we persevere, why? Because there is something that moves us within, there is something no one else can take away from us, it is part of your soul and what created you - LOVE.
Sometimes, some are feeling they need to “pick sides” in order to feel like they belong to “something” or even “someone” - the need of being “VALIDATED”…. hmmmm? So in actuality, whether someone picks a side or not we all belong to the same place and we are all just walking along TOGETHER through our journeys. So why operate from a low vibrational place? The need of feeling validated comes from a place of lack - we have already been provided with everything we need. To operate as if we do not, then therefore we will not. It is the Law of Attraction.

No need to ask outside of yourself for permission. No need to ask outside of yourself if you are good enough. You have been given everything through LOVE (aka God, Universe, your Higher Power) Validation on an outward platform sets limitations within. It is a trap.
Let’s talk STANDARDS... do you hold yourself to any kind of standards? Once you hold yourself to them do you back down because of criticism or do you push through by standing firmly in what you believe. Do you give yourself permission and validation to move forward in your own path. Do you operate from ego or truth? How does your self worth come in to all of this? I’ll share an example of a difficult lesson that helped me outgrow self-doubt and seeking validation from others.
About 10 years ago I briefly met someone who would become a friend and someone I looked up to. At the time, I was searching for my truth and purpose, often times getting hung up in feeling sorry for myself and also operating in an ego/fear based perspective. I felt that nothing I ever did was right or good enough and “other people” knew better. So I would seek out the advice and insight of this new friend often. Even though I have ALWAYS been an intuitive and empath I still did not believe that my truth belonged to me. I doubted myself (as we all often do) Thus, my power did not belong to me either… because, you guessed it: I gave it away…. << take a breath here :) >>…. are you seeing where this is going yet? Well… long story short I was taken down wrong paths and the answers I was seeking were given to me by someone who not only did not have the right intentions towards me, but also the validation from them was not mine. It did not belong to me. It was never mine. My standards were being compromised and I didn’t even know it. The inner voice, the nudges and my own validation was ignored. This denied my magnificence given to me by God - each one of us has this gift and each one of us has access to it. Just listen closely when you pray or ask for guidance - the answers - the validation - the guidance, it is all there for you. It is your birthright.
The moral of the story:
YOU GIVE YOURSELF VALIDATION. It comes from pure LOVE within.
